Don Parsons started with a simple recording rig in 2007 in Collins, Ohio, as a project to record his own material, for fun. It wasn’t long before he took a commercial client and BoTT Records and BoTT Music Publishing (BMI) followed closely behind.
The owners relocated to Greenville, South Carolina in 2011 where SoBoTT LLC was formed to house the existing concerns and any future ones. In 2017, Don formed Balancing Act Records. BoTT Records, BoTT Music Publishing (BMI), SoBoTT Music (ASCAP) and their catalogs, copyrights and masters are the interests of SoBoTT LLC.
Don is also a producer, multi instrumentalist, songwriter, recordist, mix engineer and mastering engineer.
Mr. Parsons is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Producers and Engineers Wing).
